This area, tucked away between Overbrook, Cobbs Creek Park and West Park, is on the edge of West Philadelphia. Evidence of its wealthy past is reflected in the flourishes and details of
its largely intact housing stock.
Though the area, like many of its economic stature, is less than ideal, it maintains a generally homey feel with no acres of abandon or cars on cinderblocks. People live here. People
work here and it's a place that's far from dead.
