Just hours before the Eagles received the kickoff to open Super Bowl XXXIX, life was normal in North Philadelphia. The nervous silence was so thick, no one dared disturb it. A perfect chance to gallivant up and around North Broad Street, I thought. This is the afternoon of Super Sunday before the Eagles met their demise in the form of that despicable so-and-so Tedy Bruschi. Ah well. What a season anyway.
