| Byberry Mental Hospital opened in 1912 and closed in 1990. In the nearly 80 years that it was open, uncountable stories were made and told or not told, psychiatric and psychologic tests were performed, and ... well, I'll let this site and this site tell the story better than I can. It's one of the more notable places for urban explorers (and squatters and graffiti artists) to find themselves in this part of the country. |
