Helmut Jahn's Liberty Place changed the identity of Center City; the Philly skyline was forever altered. Most would
even say improved. William Penn is one of the few holdovers from the gentleman's agreement era in which his hat was the
tallest manmade oulook in the city (and of course, all our major sports franchises have suffered at his hands). Whether
you love 'em, like 'em or loathe 'em, One and Two Liberty Place are the focal point of the skyline. (Until Comcast
Center is complete, of course.) This phillyskyline.com feature takes a photographic look at the whole of Liberty Place -- both towers, the Westin Hotel and the Shops at Liberty Place. Enjoy. |
