On a foggy Friday, 17 October 2003, Edan and I got up early, popped into the Staples on Delaware Avenue for a fresh pack of mini-discs, and hit the trail for Northeast Philly. We had breakfast at Denny's with Moses, our flight coordinator, and it was served by a nice girl with a black eye and a Band-Aid on her forehead.

After making a borderline anti-semitic comment (without realizing Edan is Jewish, nor perhaps the origins of his own name Moses) and telling the girl that she should stop letting her father beat her like that, Moses picked up the tab. We gladly let him.

Upon leaving our Moons Over My Hammy, we had to postpone the flight a day due to poor visibility. Edan couldn't make it on Saturday, so I was flying solo. Well, almost solo -- I was co-pilot to Danny, Moses' understudy who piloted the Cessna 172 while I stuck my camera out the window. It was a beautiful morning, but due to FAA regulations, we weren't able to fly south of Center City (where the best light shone on the skyline). Ah well.

I've arranged the results 10 photos to a page, totaling 13 pages, in no order whatsoever. The images are kinda big (roughly 1000 x 750 pixels), but not so big they'll kill your modem.

Please buckle up and enjoy the flight.
